A Walk In The Park

The Adirondack Park is larger in area (including 2.5 million public acres) than any National Park in the lower 48 states, larger even than Yellowstone and Yosemite.

Adirondack Park is about the size of the states of Vermont and Connecticut, but has only about 130,000 year-round residents. Hamilton County has fewer people per sq. mile than Alaska's interior.

The West Canada Lake Wilderness Area area sits in the south west corner of the Adirondack Park. It affords countless adventures for the outdoor enthusiast
